That is why creating a community of mentors is crucial to the growth and development of both early career and established researchers. Here in this group, we can share our knowledge, give and receive feedback, and collaborate on projects. Mentors in this group have a responsibility to help guide and support their mentees. This includes offering constructive feedback, sharing relevant resources, and providing guidance in areas such as grant writing, research methodology, and career development. Mentees, on the other hand, should be open to feedback and take initiative to seek out advice and guidance when necessary. Collaboration is a key element of this community as we can work together to achieve more than we could alone.
